REB Technologies completes NVG modification for 6 Royal Thai Air Force C-130s 

19 NOV 2008 – Bedford, Texas, US — REB Technologies, Inc is pleased to announce that it has  recently completed the night vision lighting modifications of six C-130H Hercules military aircraft for the Royal Thai Air Force at Takhli RTAFB base located in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand.  The work was performed under contract to Rockwell Collins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Rockwell Collins personnel installed the company’s Flight2 avionics system with REB Tech providing all other NVG lighting modifications such as post lights, utility lights, switches, panel modification and instrument lighting for the cockpit, navigator and flight engineer stations.  The six military airframes were completed on time and on budget.  

REB Technologies company President and COO, Richard Borkowski commented, “Our company foundation was built on military night vision lighting systems and its still a significant amount of our worldwide business.  Our military business has allowed us to develop NVG technology and equipment for the law enforcement and air medical sectors and we continue to expand these very successful markets.” 

REB Tech continues its significant international business and now has twenty-two additional C-130 airframe modifications scheduled for customers in South America and the Middle East.  The company has also recently completed work for fixed and rotary wing customers in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).  Development of the civil air medical and law enforcement helicopter markets is evident by the company’s 16 supplemental type certificate (STC) modifications in the past several years.  REB Tech has also recently completed six new law enforcement helicopters in the United States with the company’s night vision cockpit and cabin lighting equipment and systems.
