Products & Services

Cockpit Modifications

REBTECH provides complete cockpit/cabin night vision compatible lighting systems and equipment modification for new or “green” aircraft/helicopters. In-service aircraft/helicopters can be modified by REBTECH or an authorized installer. Aircraft downtime can be mitigated with installation services at the customer location.

REBTECH can modify NAV/COMM control heads with SHADOWS™ Color Filters. To meet FAA requirements of the FAA, a new filter assembly is installed to replace the filter normally furnished by the original equipment’s manufacturer. SHADOWS™ filters allow for night vision goggle compatibility as well as satisfying sunlight readability requirements.

Modification of the filters is regulated by FAA approved process specifications.
All REBTECH internal modifications are performed and maintained under the same process specification. In case of equipment failure, this process allows the customer to either return the unit to REBTECH for repair or use their local FAA approved repair facility to eliminate aircraft downtime

Avionic Modifications

Although most requests for today NVG modifications rely on external avionics modifications, REBTECH prefers internal modifications. The internal modification process consists of replacing the existing filter with a REBTECH SHADOWS™ color filter. This approach provides longer product life and greater lighting contrast, as well as obtaining maximum sunlight readability.

Installations & Deliverables

REBTECH maintains a complete inventory of spares to support aircraft operating around the world.  During the installation process, REBTECH’s installation team works hand in hand with your mechanics.  This ensures that your aircraft ground crew understands the modifications and that they become proficient in maintaining the system.

REBTECH provides its customers with the documentation and support to ensure all internally modified components (instruments or avionics) can be repaired by the aircraft’s local repair station or at a REBTECH Authorized Repair Logistic Center; whichever is more convenient for the customer. Having this option reduces downtime.

NVG Flight Training

REBTECH is associated with Night Flight Concepts (NFC), of Port St. Lucie, Florida.  NFC provides complete night vision flight training plus maintenance technician training. It is an FAA approved FAR Part 145 repair station providing night vision device inspection, maintenance and overhaul. Customized training programs can be provided to suit the needs of specialized flight departments for civil, para-public and military applications.

NVG Accessories & Equipment

REBTECH is a distributor of NIVISYS products. Along with NVG/IR monocular, binoculars and scopes, NIVISYS’ night vision goggles (NVGs) are the only FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) approved NVGs available today.

REBTECH offers a complete line of NVG Accessories and equipment.

AOG Programs

REBTECH provides global AOG support for any equipment designed, installed, or developed by the company.

Engineering & Project Management

REBTECH can develop customer specific night vision program for military or civil applications.  Night vision consulting services are also available for specific program development.

NVG External Lighting Systems

REBTECH has developed several civil and military external lighting systems, on aircraft currently deployed around the world. External NVG lighting was originally a military mission requirement. However, it has grown in popularity to become an often mandatory civilian requirement as well. Thanks to new Homeland Security and EMS operating standards, exterior lighting has recently become an FAA and Transport Canada requirement.

Standard Exterior Lighting

Every REBTECH installation includes LED position lights, which provide NVG compatible illumination. These long life items provide high intensity and true aviation colors, while lowering the infrared (IR) signature of the light.

Covert Exterior Lighting

Covert lighting applications can be developed for discreet military and para-public night operations. Covert lighting is also available for position lights, search lights, external aircraft markings, and beacons.

Financing

REBTECH offers financing solutions for all of its products, equipment, modifications and services. This program is open to all government agencies, including federal, state, municipal or other qualified entities with tax-exempt status. Features of the program include variable lease terms from three to five years, no down payment options, deferred payment plans, and other attractive financing scenarios.
