REBTECH Retains Haney For Law Enforcement Sales & Marketing

July 11, 2007 – ALEA – Booth #721 – Orlando, FL  – Keith Haney, has been retained by REBTECH to enhance the position of REBTECH specifically to law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S.  Haney, a former State Trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, was assigned to the Aviation Section for fourteen years, seven of which as the Aviation Section Commander.  Haney retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the rank of Captain with twenty-six years of service and over 7,000 hours of helicopter and fixed-wing flight time.

While overseeing all aviation services of the OSHP, Haney was responsible for supervising the operations and maintenance of a fleet of three turbine helicopters and twelve fixed wing aircraft providing day and night law enforcement; search and rescue; and executive transport missions with a staff of fourteen pilots and administrative support staff.  Additionally, Haney was responsible for preparing Aviation Section budgets; acquisition of aircraft, avionics, and specialized equipment; supervision, training and evaluation of all Aviation Section personnel; and served as the Aerial Support Commander of the Highway Patrol’s Special Response Team (SRT).

In addition to Haney’s experience as a law enforcement aviation unit manager and pilot, he has experience in FAA Part 135 Electronic News Gathering (ENG) and on-demand helicopter charter operations.  Haney has been a proud member of the Airborne Law Enforcement Association for 20 years and has been a guest instructor at ALEA national and regional conferences.
